Sexo? (with an Amichai addendum)

Sexo?

hilan

quero aprender a não tratar o tempo
como um animal peçonhento
que precisa ser exterminado
- quero comer o tempo
e quero casar

com cada segundo
e separar sofridamente
enquanto me caso com o próximo:
promiscuidade:
o amor avassalador distribuído em toneladas
a cada um que chega, chegam muitos...
orgias, orgias
sessenta a cada minuto
uma entrega louca para a qual toda espera é pouca
por dias e dias – tique taques de calafrios
(áh – taque – áh – tique – áh – taque - áh)
há um harém interminável dentro de cada relógio.

Más un Amichai, in English and em português

The Place Where We Are Right

From the place where we are right
Flowers will never grow
In the spring.

The place where we are right
Is hard and trampled
Like a yard.

But doubts and loves
Dig up the world
Like a mole, a plow.

And a whisper will be heard in the place
Where the ruined
House once stood.

O lugar em que temos razão

Do lugar em que temos razão
jamais crescerão flores
na primavera.

O lugar em que temos razão
está pisoteado e duro
como um pátio.

Mas dúvidas e amores
escavam o mundo
como uma toupeira, como a lavradura.

E um sussurro será ouvido
no lugar onde houve uma casa
que foi destruída.

After Auschwitz (a poem by Anne Sexton and another by Yehuda Amichai)

by Anne Sexton :

Anger,
as black as a hook,
overtakes me.

Each day,
each Nazi
took, at 8:00 A.M., a baby
and sauteed him
for breakfast
in his frying pan.

And death looks on with a casual eye
and picks at the dirt under his fingernail.

Man is evil,
I say aloud.
Man is a flowerthat should be burnt,
I say aloud.
Man is a bird full of mud,
I say aloud.

And death looks on with a casual eye
and scratches his anus.

Man with his small pink toes,
with his miraculous fingers
is not a temple
but an outhouse,
I say aloud.
Let man never again raise his teacup.
Let man never again write a book.
Let man never again put on his shoe.
Let man never again raise his eyes,
on a soft July night.
Never. Never. Never. Never. Never.
I say those things aloud.

I beg the Lord not to hear.

by Yehuda Amichai:

buca l'umbrello

this is a blog for poetry only
for words with a spike
the ones that make holes
in the dome of order that one day
ancient and modern poets built
on top of us all
according to a pale legend
told by d.h.lawrence when sober
now, surely every word is spiky
when placed among some others
they can get very wrong, explode.
